Q. What types of product licenses does ACON have?
ACON has three main product licenses. Please see below for more detailed information.
Q. How are these licenses different from each other?
Let me explain each type of license according to several criteria to help you understand.
1.
How many times can the product be used?
a.
Personal license : Only one author may use a license
b.
Sharing license: The license may only be applied to one work
Ex. If you purchase 3 shared licenses, you can use them for 3 different works
c.
Enterprise license: each license may be used 5 times, or an unlimited number of times
Ex. If you purchase a five-time usage corporate license, the product can be used for five different works.
2.
Who can use the products?
a.
Personal license: May only be used by the buyer
b.
Sharing/Corporate license: May be used by multiple individuals who share the same pseudonym or company name.
Q. Is it possible to only sell specific licenses?
Personal and shared licenses are sold as a package. It is not possible to exclude one of them from the market.
The authors can choose if they would like to sell corporate licenses. You can modify the settings for corporate license sales in the product page on your Partner Hub.
